Allan Ritchie has been in the counseling profession for over 50 years. He has a MS in Counseling and a Ph.D in Counselor Education. Allan was a school counselor and a counselor administrator in Washoe County School District for 26 years. He is a licensed Marriage and Family Counselor in both Nevada and California where he worked in agencies and private practice. Allan retired from Washoe County School District in 2013. He then continued his agency and private practice work until 2023. In March of 2024, Allan realized that he missed working with families and youth. He then discovered Boosted Diplomas and has been working with them since April 2024.

Allan is originally from New York and has been living in Reno since 1988. In his free time he enjoys, hiking, traveling and watching different kinds of sports.
